Hello DA lovas,
As of Friday, March 13th, at 3:10pm, I am officially a 4th quarter senior in High School. THANK THE LORD JESUS CHRIST! It is the last stretch to the finish line, and college is less than a half a year away. I am TOO excited!
...And, yet, there is a twinge of pain that comes with going to college: Mostly it is that I will be in the middle-of-nowhere Pullman, WA attending Washington State University, and all of my best friends will be spread out all over the United States. Yes, I am excited to get out of my house and away from my parents.. Yes, I am excited to start my own, independent life.. Yes, I am excited to pursue my dreams as a Wildlife Vet.. Yes, I am excited to make new friends and experience new opportunities.... But I love my friends to death and it just won't be the same without them. I hope and pray that I always stay in contact with them because they mean everything to me. And then there is my boyfriend.. yes, my very first bf, sorry to not update you all. This one lovely fellow and I started going out at the end of January. He's a freshman.... in high school. HAHAHA, yes, yes, a senior going out with a freshman, .. You must all think that I'm out of my flippin' mind. But he's wonderful, and I adore him, but there is the impending fact that we will most likely break up before I go to college.. It's just.. fairly inevitable. Would it be fair to either of us if we stayed in a long-distance relationship? No. I'm glad that I have the maturity to understand this, but I also pray that he stays in contact with me and that we will always stay good friends. He's one of those kind of guys that you just don't ever want to have out of your life after you've met him. And he has so much potential: he wants to be a Broadway actor, and I can see him doing it, and I don't say that very often. Just like I can see most of my friends going far in their lives.
We're the next generation... And we're going to change this world. <3
Until then: I have a Hamlet essay that is calling my name as of right now (oh, procrastination), a PreCal grade to desperately bring back up, an internship proposal to get in by next Monday, and an Art Show to get finished by the beginning of May.
...And here I thought the last few months of my Senior Year were supposed to be the easiest? Haha, that's a fucking joke!
I love you all, and I will post more art when I get a life!!
XOXO
Sarah
P.S. 2 weeks and my subscription goes buh-bye :C I wonder if there is any kind soul out there who would be willing to by me one in exchange for some colored gift art..? <3 haha
