So, ok, since I'm still getting back into using dA, I'm obviously not up to date on some of the current fads and the things that have developed because of the points system, but one thing I wanted to discuss was the whole "Adoptables" thing. I mean, why do people pay other people for their character designs?  I can maybe understand if there was an artist who you admire who designs really awesome characters, and you paid them for like a custom design, but... these bid things, where someone with just draw up some random designs, and then start selling them for points or even real money... like LOLWUT.  There are some well-known artists up in h

I don't even know how all of your manage to post so much art so frequently. Like there are really amazing artists on here who pump and quality shit each night.  And not just like one piece, but sometimes like 4 or 5. And I'm just prettymuch dead the second I get home from classes, and working, and slaving away from 8 hours on art assignments that are probably going to look shitty anyway because we get no time to dedicate anything to them. *haaaaaaate* This has been a vent. I want your LIIIIIVES!!!

So today was my first day of classes for my senior year in college.  I'm so pumped... 3 quarters and 38 credits away from graduating!  I'm ready to finish this year strong and go into Animation Mentor! Anyway, I'm taking Paper Making, Printmaking Relief, and Figure Drawing (that one will be really good for future portfolios!).  Next quarter, I'll probably be taking another Fibers class, Printmaking Intalio, and an independent study focusing on 3D Felting (I did 2D Felting last year).  And then the last quarter, probably some drawing class and my Senior Seminar, which I believe is focused on promoting yourself and your body of work.
